Optimize the control of your device based on the current state of charge (SoC) of your home battery.
1. Switch-on threshold:
- When does control start? Once the state of charge (SoC) of your home battery reaches the percentage you have set, your device will be switched on automatically and the charging session will begin.
2. Switch-off threshold:
- When does control stop? The charging session will end as soon as the SoC of your home battery falls below the percentage you have defined.
- Additional control with reduced power: Your device will remain switched on until this SoC value is reached.
Practical application example:
- Your home battery is still too full in the morning: Suppose your home battery still has an SoC of 50% in the morning, but you want to reduce it to 20% to make room for new solar power during the day.
- Combine schedule and SoC plan: Create a schedule that starts at 6:00 AM, for example, and link it to an SoC plan. Set the switch-on threshold to 25% and the switch-off threshold to 20%.
- Intelligent charging: The control process starts automatically as soon as the battery has more than 25% charge and stops when it drops to 20%. This allows you to make optimal use of your stored electricity and create capacity for new solar power.
Smart mode must be activated for this to work.
The device will also be switched on below the set switch-off threshold if there is PV surplus to optimize self-consumption.
