You can configure your "Battery State of Charge Priority" and "Battery Power Priority" for your home battery. These settings influence when surplus PV power is used for your devices (such as heat pumps, wallboxes, EVs, heating elements, and smart plugs).
"Battery State of Charge Priority":
Define the minimum SoC (%) you want to maintain in your battery before the PV control system starts. For example, if you set this to 50%, it ensures that the control system only activates once your battery has reached at least 50% charge, or if there is still sufficient surplus power available despite the battery charging process.
If your battery has not yet reached the set value but is already charging at full capacity, we will switch on the device if there is enough surplus to maximize self-consumption.
"Battery Power Priority":
Define how much power should be reserved for battery charging. Any power exceeding this value will be used to control your devices.
These settings function as an OR condition. If either the "Battery State of Charge Priority" or the "Battery Power Priority" condition is met, the loads will be switched on.
To change these settings, follow these steps:
- Go to "Devices"
- Tap on your metering system/PV system/battery storage
- Tap on Control Settings
